Welcome to the IMA Cybersecurity & Data Practices Certificate™ program. This program is geared specifically toward finance and accounting professionals contributing to essential internal controls, risk assessments and mitigation, and oversight management pertaining to their organization’s cybersecurity. For these professionals, having a seat at the table requires a baseline knowledge of cybersecurity threats, internal systems management and control, and risk assessment and mitigation. This knowledge fosters efficient collaboration with the company’s information technology and information security departments responsible for the more technical aspects, including firewall protections and the design of other preventative and detective tools and control activities.
