This course explores the define and ideate stages, steps 2 and 3 in the design thinking process. This course is designed to equip participants with the skills to transform insights from empathy exercises into actionable challenge statements. Participants discover ways to scrutinize and make sense of their collected data, emphasizing the importance of noticing outliers and framing problems in solution-oriented ways. Learners discover the art of reframing challenges and formulating powerful questions. The course also introduces various brainstorming techniques, including “stick ’em up brainstorming” and
“rolestorming,” enabling participants to move beyond obvious solutions and embrace innovative thinking. This micro course is between 10-15 minutes and will award 0.2 NASBA CPE.
